How these numbers are calculated

First-year cost = one-time onboarding fee + 12 x monthly subscription. The point is that the platforms with the lowest monthly sticker are not always cheapest in year one, because the front-loaded setup fee can swamp a year of a cheaper plan, especially at a small listing count.

  • Hospitable: no onboarding fee. $29/mo for 1 property (Host), $59 base on Professional with 2 included, then about $2 per extra property (hospitable.com/pricing, 2026-05-30).
  • Lodgify: no onboarding fee, self-serve. Per-property pricing, modelled at the Professional tier of about $40/listing/mo; 0% booking fee (lodgify.com/pricing, 2026-05-30).
  • Hostaway: per-listing at about $30/listing/mo, plus a one-time onboarding fee commonly cited at $500 (it is quote-based and not advertised, so treat it as an anchor, not a guarantee).
  • Guesty: per-listing at about $40/listing/mo (Pro), plus a one-time onboarding ramp that third-party reports put anywhere from $300 to $1,500; modelled at $900 and labelled an estimate. Guesty is sales-gated and does not publish either number.
